Het Nieuwsblad is the favorite quality newspaper of the middle social class families in the Flemish region. It devotes special attention to regional and sports news, and represents a great support for woman because of its ample content focused on woman's interests. It is distributed in the totality of the Flemish region, with 16 regional editions and it’s published from Monday to Sunday. The diary counts with five principal sections:

- Reizen: the weekend supplement dedicated to travel, with wide photographic articles and advices on the most attractive destinations.
- Nieuwsblad op zondag: the only Flemish Sunday newspaper, with general news and with a wide range of sports and leisure news.
